Ipswich midfielder David Norris has been fined £5,000 (€5,970) and warned as to his future conduct after admitting a charge of improper conduct relating to a gesture he made while celebrating a goal against Blackpool.

The 27-year-old made a ’handcuffs’ gesture during the November 8 match as a message to his former Plymouth team-mate Luke McCormick, who was jailed last month for causing the death of young brothers Arron and Ben Peak by dangerous driving.
