Cronin resigns as Waterford United manager

Gareth Cronin has resigned as Waterford United manager after two years in charge of the Suirside club.

In a statement last night, club officials said they had reluctantly accepted his decision.

Cronin himself also issued a statement say he had made the decision "with deep regret" and wished Waterford every success in the future.
