Bridge replaces Cole for Blues

Wayne Bridge replaced the injured Ashley Cole for Chelsea as they looked to cement a place in the knockout stages of the Champions League with victory over Roma.

The game had been in doubt following a torrential three-hour downpour but was finally given the go ahead by match official Luis Medina Cantalejo.
