Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor is a serious doubt ahead of his side’s Barclays Premier League clash with Wigan at the JJB Stadium on Sunday.

Agbonlahor sustained cuts to his knees following an injury-time collision with Ajax goalkeeper Kenneth Vermeer in Thursday night’s 2-1 UEFA Cup Group F victory over the Dutch giants.
