Hoops without trio for St Pat's game

Today's game against St Patrick's Athletic marks Shamrock Rovers caretaker boss Jim Crawford's debut following his appointment last Tuesday.

He will be in charge for the four remaining games of the season.

This game against St Pat's will be the Hoops' second-last home game at Tolka Park before the move to Tallaght Stadium.

Eric McGill is suspended, but would have missed the game anyway due to a ligament injury.

Darren Stapleton is also sidelined with a cartilage injury, while Joseph Ndo is ruled out under the loan agreement between Rovers and St Pat's.

Saints travel without Dessie Byrne (hamstring), Bobby Ryan (knee), Stephen Paisley, Gary O'Neill (both groin) and John Murphy (back).

Damien Lynch, Dave Partridge and Barry Ryan are also doubts, although flu' victim Mark Quigley should play.
