Samaras out of Celtic squad

Celtic’s top scorer Georgios Samaras was omitted from the squad for today’s trip to Inverness after arriving back late from international duty with Greece.

Shaun Maloney replaced the injured Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, while fellow Dutchman Glen Loovens started the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash ahead of Mark Wilson.

Garry Wood replaced the injured Andrew Barrowman for Inverness, with Phil McGuire and Russell Duncan also starting.
