William Gallas (hamstring), Bacary Sagna (knee), Nicklas Bendtner (ankle) and Johan Djourou (concussion) are all out.

England winger Theo Walcott may be rested, but Cesc Fabregas (broken nose) and Robin van Persie (muscular) have been passed fit.

Midfielder Abou Diaby (thigh) is available for the first time this season, and French defender Mickael Silvestre looks set for a belated debut following his transfer from Manchester United.

Tomas Rosicky (hamstring), Amaury Bischoff (groin) and striker Eduardo (leg) all remain in recovery.
