Cork City have small squad to choose from
Cork City will be looking to get back to form at Turner’s Cross tonight as they take on Finn Harps, kick-off 7.45pm.
Injuries and suspension will rob Alan Mathews of several players, giving the City manager a relatively small squad to choose from as they take on the struggling Donegal side.
Cillian Lordan is continuing his recovery from a knee injury but is unlikely to be fit for tomorrow night’s game.
Defenders Danny Murphy and Dan Murray are both suspended, meaning the City boss will have to re-jig his defence.
Denis Behan and Colin Healy are also suspended, but shoulder injuries mean both would most likely have missed the match anyway.
For Harps, Jonathan Minnock is out with a groin injury.
And boss Paul Hegarty has doubts over the fitness of striker Stephen Parkhouse (hamstring) and defender Shaun Holmes (ankle).
Both players missed out last week against St Patrick's Athletic.
Davy Byrne (thigh) is still doubtful having missed the last three games, while Cornelius Gallagher remains a long-term absentee.
