Fitzgerald out for UCD

A win for UCD against Sligo Rovers at the UCD Bowl tonight is vital if Pete Mahon’s side hope to have any chance of staying up this season, kick-off 7.45pm.

UCD must plan without Shane Fitzgerald who is still recovering from injury.

Darren Meenan and Brian King return from suspension to bolster Mahon's squad.

Mahon said: "We know what we have to do. We are going to go out and enjoy ourselves and see where we end up. Sligo are a good team who allow you to play the game, they don't have any negative tactics."

Sligo must plan without Mauro Almeida who is serving a suspension.

Seamus Coleman and Romauld Boco both return to the squad having been away on international duty.

Matthew Judge also returns to the squad having been out for several weeks with a facial injury.
