Villa trio doubtful

Aston Villa have striker John Carew, winger Ashley Young and central defender Curtis Davies undergoing treatment in the build-up to Sunday’s clash against West Brom.

All three players missed Villa’s 3-1 win against Litex Lovech in yesterday’s UEFA Cup tie in Bulgaria.

Carew (ankle) and Young (knee) were both injured at Tottenham on Monday.

Davies was a late withdrawal against Litex when he woke up on the morning of the game with a slightly swollen knee.
