Osman hoping to return for UEFA Cup game

Leon Osman could return for Everton in their UEFA Cup first round match against Standard Liege tomorrow night.

The midfielder has been rated as 50-50 for the match and will undergo a fitness test on his knee injury to see if he is ready for the Goodison Park tie.

However, Steven Pienaar (ankle), Andy van der Meyde (hamstring), Tony Hibbert (knee), Joseph Yobo (ankle) and Louis Saha (calf) still require treatment and will not be available for the first leg clash.
