Drogheda set for Cork clash in Setanta Cup

Eircom League premier division champions Drogheda host FAI Cup holders Cork City in the Setanta Cup this evening at United Park.

Both sides are undefeated and safely into the knock-out stages already with 10 points from their first four games.

Drogs’ keeper Dan Connor is still sidelined but Paul Doolin can welcome back Declan O'Brien and Shane Barrett.

Both players were used as substitutes in Drogheda's win over Finn Harps on Friday.

Midfielder Stuart Byrne is still unavailable.

Alan Matthews’ troubled Cork City side are further stretched by injuries.

Pat Sullivan, Cillian Lordan, Denis Behan and Dan Murray are all struggling to be fit for the game.

Behan and Murray both picked up knocks in Saturday's drawn FAI Cup quarter final with Derry.

In this evening's other tie in the cross border competition Dungannon Swifts host Cliftonville at Stangmore Park in an Ulster Derby at 8pm.
