Newcastle fans hoping for Keegan resolution

Newcastle fans are today hoping for further clarity on the future of manager Kevin Keegan after two full days of fevered speculation on Tyneside.

The club yesterday moved to expand upon Tuesday’s initial confirmation they had not sacked Keegan – contrary to a spate of media reports – and confirmed a dialogue that began on Monday was in progress but he remained in charge at St James’ Park.
