Lafferty ruled out for Northern Ireland

Kyle Lafferty has been forced to withdraw from the Northern Ireland squad for the opening World Cup qualifier against Slovakia on Saturday, as a result of a back injury.

The Glasgow Rangers striker met up with the team at their London hotel earlier today; however he will be returning to his club this evening.
