Behan lifts mood in Cork with win over Cliftonville
Cliftonville 0 Cork City 2
Denis Behan scored twice as Cork booked their place in the semi-finals of the Setanta Sports Cup with a facile win at Celtic Park, Belfast.
Putting their ongoing troubles behind them, Cork took the game to Cliftonville from the start and they finally broke the deadlock with a good goal on 38 minutes.
Skipper Dan Murray burst forward to feed Alan O'Connor on the right wing.
His cross picked out Denis Behan to rifle to the net from the edge of the area.
Behan struck again eight minutes from time to seal Cork's passage when firing home from 20 yards after Cillian Lordan had touched a free-kick to him.
