Portsmouth call off Primus loan

Portsmouth have called off veteran defender Linvoy Primus’ move to Charlton after refusing to let him go for more than six months.

Charlton, the club where Primus – who turns 35 next month – started his career, wanted to take the centre-back on a season-long loan to fill the gap left by Madjid Bougherra’s departure to Rangers.
