Valencia president denies Villa bid reports

Valencia vice-president Fernando Gomez insists they have yet to receive a formal offer for star striker David Villa, but admits they could be tempted by a €50m bid.

Spanish media reports suggested Valencia had turned down an offer of around €47m from Real Madrid for the Spain international, who has also been linked with a move to the Premier League.
