Scan boost for Ashton

West Ham striker Dean Ashton has been passed fit despite limping out of Saturday’s Barclays Premier League defeat of Wigan.

Ashton scored twice in the first 10 minutes but left the action in the 72nd minute with what was feared to be a calf injury.
