Striker Marlon King could go straight into the Hull side for their Barclays Premier League opener against Fulham.

The Jamaica international joined the club on a season-long loan from Wigan yesterday and will compete for a place with veteran Dean Windass and Caleb Folan up front.

King is one of a number of new signings that could make his Tigers debut in this weekend’s clash at the KC Stadium.

Peter Halmosi, George Boateng, Anthony Gardner, Bernard Mendy and Geovanni could all feature in a much-changed Hull side.

Folan received treatment for a muscle strain this week but is now fit and manager Phil Brown has no other injury worries.

Team (from): Myhill, Ricketts, Turner, Gardner, Dawson, Fagan, Ashbee, Boateng, Marney, Geovanni, Windass, Doyle, Hughes, Garcia, Cooper, Barmby, France, Halmosi, Featherstone, King, Mendy, Warner.
