Depor accept Newcastle bid for Coloccini

Deportivo La Coruna have accepted a bid from Newcastle for Argentina defender Fabricio Coloccini.

A statement on Depor’s official website, www.canaldeportivo.com, confirmed the two clubs reached a verbal agreement last week and that has now been followed up with a formal written offer.

Depor claim the fee could rise to €13m.
