Guy and Fahey stars for Saints

Ryan Guy and Keith Fahey were the stars as St. Patrick's narrowed the gap on leaders Bohemians to one point with a comfortable win at the UCD Bowl.

Saints took the lead on 31 minutes. College keeper Matt Gregg could only parry a shot from Saints' topscorer Mark Quigley and striker partner Glenn Fitzpatrick followed up to tap home the rebound.

Guy made it 2-0 on 70 minutes when getting on the end of Fahey's cross to tap home.

The American then returned the compliment five minutes from time when setting up Fahey to score the third from a tight angle.
