Bernardo Corradi is expected to complete a permanent transfer to Reggina from Manchester City later today.

The veteran Italian striker travelled to Reggina’s pre-season camp in Brusson on Tuesday evening to meet his future team-mates.

A club statement read: “Whilst waiting to resolve certain bureaucratic issues with [Manchester City owner Thaksin] Shinawatra’s club, Bernardo Corradi arrived at Brusson to get to know the atmosphere at the Amaranto camp.

“Corradi will become a Reggina player once he has defined his position with Manchester City.”

The 32-year-old, who played last season on loan at Parma after a disappointing one-year spell at Eastlands, is set to sign a one-year contract with the Serie A side.
