Bohs go top after win over UCD

Bohemians 2 UCD 0

Goals from skipper Owen Heary and fast-emerging club player-of-the-season Killian Brennan moved Bohemians back to the top of the Premier Division table.

Bohs were finally rewarded for a dominant display from the first whistle when they took the lead on 21 minutes.

Neale Fenn floated a corner into the area and Owen Heary scored his third goal of the season with a downward header.

Brennan doubled the lead eight minutes later when getting on the end of man-of-the-match Fenn's clever cross to score his eighth goal of the campaign.

The win moves Pat Fenlon's Gypsies two points ahead of St Patrick's Athletic (who travel to Cork on Sunday) with a game in hand.
