Norwich manager Glenn Roeder has bolstered his defensive options ahead of the new season by signing Fulham duo Dejan Stefanovic and Elliot Omozusi.

Stefanovic, 33, joins the club on a two-year deal while Omozusi arrives at Carrow Road on a season-long loan.

Roeder told the club‘s official website, www.canaries.co.uk: “It’s great to bring in two players with Premiership experience and their arrival is part of our squad rebuilding ahead of the new season.”

Stefanovic boasts nine years of top-flight experience after spells with Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth while Omozusi has made 11 appearances for Fulham since making his debut in September 2006.

Former Serbia international Stefanovic added: “We want to be playing Premiership football again as soon as possible and I would like to do that with Norwich.”
