Bohs' hot streak continues
Bray Wanderers 0 Bohemians 2
Goals from Jason McGuinness and Glen Crowe eased Bohemians to a seventh league win on the spin as they moved to within a point of leaders St Patrick's Athletic at the top of the table tonight.
A dour game only came to life on 28 minutes when Bohs took the lead. Bray failed to pick up McGuinness at the back post from Stephen O'Donnell's corner.
Though his initial header came back off his marker, the big central defender rifled home his third goal in four games.
Pat Fenlon's side enjoyed their best spell of pressure early in the second half and capped it with their second goal on 54 minutes.
Neale Fenn's clever free kick picked out the run of Crowe who drilled a left foot shot to the bottom corner of the net for his fourth league goal of the season.
Bray's best chance came on 67 minutes when substitute Gareth Coughlan, played in by Ger Rowe, brought a terrific save from Brian Murphy.
Crowe then forced the save of the night from Alan Gough at the other end before Murphy had to show his agility once more to deprive Aidan O'Keeffe 10 minutes from time.
