Sheffield United expect to learn the outcome of their claim against West Ham for compensation over the Carlos Tevez affair in September.

West Ham were fined £5.5m but not docked points by the Premier League when found guilty of fielding the ineligible Tevez and fellow Argentina international Javier Mascherano during the 2006/7 season.
