Few injury worries for Galway
Galway United boss Jeff Kenna has a near full-strength squad to choose from for the visit of Drogheda United in tonight's eircom League of Ireland Premier Division clash at Terryland Park (kick-off 7.45pm).
Ciaran Foley and Marc McCulloch are the side's only absentees. Defender McCulloch is still struggling with a hip strain, while Foley is out with a thigh strain.
Kenna will be looking for a strong showing on Friday against last season's champions.
He said: "Friday's match gives us an opportunity to redeem ourselves after the performance against Shamrock Rovers. I know we are a better team than we showed and I am happy we have an immediate chance to play again."
For Drogheda, keeper Dan Connor, who has been missing since the start of the season through injury, returned to training this week but will not be fit for Friday's clash.
Graham Gartland is absent with a calf injury, while midfielders Paul Keegan, Shane Robinson and Richie Baker are all still out.
Declan O'Brien has returned to training following his broken arm, but is still not available.
Shane Barrett is still sidelined, and Eamon Zayed is a doubt with a tight hamstring.
