Bohemians all but booked their place in the second round of the Intertoto Cup, but they had to come from behind to ease to this big win.

Welsh league side Rhyl stunned Dalymount to take a 25th minute lead.

Marc Lloyd-Williams found Mark Connolly with a pass in from the right and his angled shot was deflected to the net off Bohs' defender Ken Oman.

But Bohs were much better in the second half and Jason Byrne shot home the equaliser from a 52nd minute free-kick.

Eight minutes later skipper Owen Heary headed home Neale Fenn's corner to put Bohs in front.

Killian Brennan shot home a penalty on 63 minutes after he'd been pulled down before setting up Fenn to loop home the fourth goal nine minutes later.

Substitute Glen Crowe made next Saturday's second leg in north Wales something of a formality with a fifth goal on 81 minutes.
