Chelsea confirm Scolari appointment

Chelsea have ended their hunt for a new manager after confirming Portugal boss Luiz Felipe Scolari as Avram Grant’s successor.

The Brazilian was one of the favourites to succeed Grant in the Stamford Bridge hotseat but the timing of his appointment has come as a huge surprise.
