Strong second half sends Bray through in Cork

Bray Wanderers gave a strong second-half showing to defeat Munster side Rockmount and secure their place in the draw for the fourth round of the FAI Ford Cup.

Having ended the first period on level terms it took Bray just 90 seconds of the second half to open the scoring. Ger Rowe headed goalwards from a cross only to see his effort save. However he blasted home the rebound to send Wanderers on their way.

Gavin Whelan added a second with a diving header on 54 minutes and Onwibiko sealed the win before the final whistle with a curling shot to the bottom corner.
