Sean O'Connor earned Shamrock Rovers an unlikely point at Turner's Cross tonight as they recorded a third draw on the spin.

Barry Murphy shone to keep Cork at bay in a one-sided first half.

Liam Kearney then broke the deadlock on 58 minutes when diving bravely to head home skipper Dan Murray's cross.

Rovers battled back however and winger O'Connor shot past Mick Devine with 10 minutes to play.
