Goalless draw for Rovers and Drogheda Utd

Respective goalkeepers Barry Murphy and Jamie Ewings prevented the goals as the sides had to settle for a point from an entertaining scoreless draw at Tolka Park.

Murphy made two stunning first half stops from Tony Grant as Drogheda had the better of the opening 45 minutes.

Rovers were the better side after the break and Ewings made a terrific stop from Alan Murphy's free-kick on 89 minutes before Padraig Amond's cheeky back heel came back off the Drogheda post.
