Stunning late winner for Bohs in Cork City clash
Bohemians 2 Cork City 1
Substitute Mark Rossiter hit a stunning late winner as Bohemians moved to within two points of Premier Division leaders St. Patrick's Athletic to throw down their title credentials.
Cork's third defeat in four games to title rivals sees them 10 points behind in seventh place and with a mountain to climb if they are to get back into the race.
Rossiter struck on 87 minutes to blast home a 22-yard shot from fellow substitute Jason Byrne's lay-off.
Neale Fenn, a title winner with Cork three years ago, had headed Bohs in front on 35 minutes from Killian Brennan's free-kick.
Cork improved in the second half and levelled on 81 minutes when George O'Callaghan's free-kick ricocheted into the net off Bohs' skipper Owen Heary.
