The League Managers Association have urged Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra to rethink his plans to replace manager Sven-Goran Eriksson at the end of the season.

The League Managers Association have urged Manchester City owner Thaksin Shinawatra to rethink his plans to replace manager Sven-Goran Eriksson at the end of the season.

Thaksin met with Eriksson earlier this week and it now looks virtually certain that the Swede will leave his post despite keeping City on course for a creditable top 10 finish in the Barclays Premier League in his first season in charge.
