Weir ruled out of Fiorentina clash

Rangers have ruled David Weir out of their plans for Thursday’s UEFA Cup semi-final second leg against Fiorentina.

The veteran centre-back sustained a groin injury during Sunday’s league defeat to Celtic and has been forced to concede defeat in his battle to face the Italians.
