Dunne out for Man City

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson kept faith with the side hammered at home by Liverpool last week as the Cottagers looked to revive their flagging survival hopes by beating Manchester City at Eastlands.

Should Hodgson’s team lose and two of Birmingham, Bolton and Reading win, they will be down showing how vital a second away victory of the season was.

For City, a triumph in their final home game would maintain hopes of qualifying for Europe next term, although their hopes were not helped by the absence of skipper Richard Dunne, who failed to recover from a hamstring injury.
