Bray win thriller with last-minute goal
Galway United 2 Bray Wanderers 3
New Galway boss Jeff Kenna saw his side come from 2-0 down only to lose to Ger Rowe's last minute strike.
Galway had a disastrous start as a mistake gifted Bray the lead within 90 seconds.
Left-back Marc McCullough's poor clearance struck Bray's Rowe who collected the loose ball to cross for winger Patrick Kavanagh to turn the ball home.
It got worse on 31 minutes when keeper Chris O'Connor's long clearance was flicked on by Rowe for Kavanagh to crash home his second goal of the game.
Galway hit back within a minute of the restart when Stephen O'Flynn drove home a penalty after Derek Pender had fouled Derek O'Brien.
Local youngster Vinny Faherty shot Galway level on 70 minutes after great work by Jay O'Shea and Mark Leech.
But Rowe won it for Bray on 90 minutes when steering home Alan Cawley's free-kick.
