Cahill to undergo surgery

Everton’s injury-prone midfielder Tim Cahill is due to undergo a critical operation in Australia that the club hope will put a full stop to his fitness problems.

Cahill suffered a recurrence of a metatarsal injury last month against West Ham and was ruled out for the season.
