Fahrudin Kuduzovic marked his return with a brace as Sligo earned their biggest win of the season over hapless Galway.

Kuduzovic, back following a knee injury, collected Seamus Coleman's pass to shoot home a superb opener off a post on 61 minutes.

Fellow substitute Rafael Cretaro doubled Rovers' lead on 74 minutes with a clever backward header after Galway were flummoxed by Anto Murphy's long throw.

Bottom of the table and managerless Galway had defender Wes Charles sent off for a foul on Murphy on 81 minutes to allow Kuduzovic add his second and Sligo's third goal from the penalty spot.

The only sour note for Sligo was the dismissal from the dugout in the first half of manager Paul Cook for dissent.
