Four doubts for Hoops

Celtic have two players banned and four doubtful for tomorrow’s Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Aberdeen.

Gary Caldwell received a one-match ban for violent conduct after grappling with Scotland team-mate David Weir following Wednesday’s 2-1 win over Rangers, and Scott Brown will complete a three-game suspension. Bobo Balde could replace Caldwell in defence.

The Old Firm game took its toll on Gordon Strachan’s second-placed side, with doubts emerging over the availability of Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Lee Naylor, Aiden McGeady and Paul Hartley for tomorrow’s game after the quartet sustained knocks.
