O'Keeffe leads Drogs to two in a rows

Aidan O'Keeffe scored twice as the champions made it two wins in a row at Belfield.

In an open game, striker O'Keeffe broke the deadlock on 35 minutes when drilling home from just inside the area for his first goal of the league season.

O'Keeffe mad it 2-0 on 44 minutes when rising well to head home Brian Shelley's cross.

UCD got straight back into it when Graham Gartland hauled down Shane Fitzgerald. Alan Mahon's spot kick was parried by Jamie Ewing, but the UCD right-back slotting home the rebound.

Drogs all but sealed their win two minutes into the second half when Shane Robinson sent Matt Gregg the wrong way from a penalty after he had been fouled by Killian Gallagher.
