Brown and Koumas back for Wigan

Midfielders Michael Brown and Jason Koumas return to strengthen the Wigan squad for Monday’s Barclays Premier League clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Both players are available again after serving suspensions, although they are not guaranteed an automatic return to the starting line-up in the wake of last week’s 2-0 home win over Birmingham.

Manager Steve Bruce has no fresh injury worries to concern him, with Erik Edman the only long-term casualty as he recovers from a ruptured cruciate knee ligament.
