City desperate to kick-start season
Cork City are desperate to kick-start their season and will be looking to record their first victory of the season as UCD travel to Turner's Cross tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.
Boss Alan Mathews will need to register a win or he may follow Tony Cousins onto next Monday's MNS couch to explain his sacking.
However, it's only a matter of time before City hit top form and UCD may be the unlucky side to incur the full wrath of City.
City have no injury worries going into the game so Mathews only dilemma will be who to start in the middle of the park and up front with Dave Mooney.
UCD have made a consistent start to the season and will be looking to come away from Cork with something to show for their hard work.
Boss Pete Mahon welcomes back impressive centre-forward Paul Byrne to lead the line at the Cross, although Alan Mahon and Alan McNally are carrying knocks and are doubts for tonight's game.
