Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson made three changes to his side for tonight’s Champions League match at Roma.

Goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar recovered from the groin strain that caused him to miss Saturday’s 4-0 victory against Aston Villa to take his place between the posts.
