Cacapa joins injury list

Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan will be without Brazilian defender Claudio Cacapa for Sunday’s Barclays Premier League trip to Tottenham.

Cacapa is likely to be out for several weeks with a groin problem, and joins Shay Given (also groin) on the long-term casualty list.

James Milner (foot), Emre (calf) and Stephen Carr (hamstring) are on the road to recovery, but still some way short of match fitness, while Shola Ameobi has joined Stoke on loan.
