City look for first win
Cork City v Derry City
Cork City take on Derry City at Turner's Cross tonight with City looking for their first win of the season, kick-off 7.35pm.
Danny Murphy returns for Alan Mathews' side after missing City's last game through suspension, while Darragh Ryan is a doubt as he is struggling with a groin injury.
Gareth Farrelly is definitely ruled out with a knee injury, while Billy Woods is also out with an ankle injury.
"The players are working hard, and we are creating opportunities, it’s just a matter now of taking those chances," said Mathews.
"What we need to start doing now is to convert our possession and our quality into goals, which is what will win us matches.
"Naturally we want to start taking those chances and start winning games.
"I have been pleased with our performances, but the challenge for us now is to start matching those good performances with results."
Derry will be looking to build on their fantastic start but will have to plan without Kevin Deery (knee), Mark McChrystal (metatarsal), Sean Hargan (ankle) and Sam Morrow (cruciate).
