PSV interested in Spurs defender

PSV Eindhoven are interested in taking Tottenham full-back Lee Young-Pyo back to the Dutch club, according to technical director Stan Valckx.

The 30-year-old South Korea defender, who spent two seasons in Eindhoven and helped them reach the 2005 Champions League semi-finals, has found his opportunities limited this season at White Hart Lane.

Lee returned to Spurs’ first team for the first time in almost two months last week for their UEFA Cup last-16 second-leg encounter at the Philips Stadion.

Valckx refused to rule out the possibility of the club bringing the player back to Eindhoven, telling AD Sportwereld that “he is still a very interesting player”.
