Boyd earns extra time for Rangers in cup final

Substitute Rangers striker Kris Boyd equalised six minutes from the final whistle to send the CIS Insurance League Cup final against Dundee United into extra-time.

Noel Hunt gave United a first-half lead at Hampden with an effort scrambled home at the left post, but Boyd cashed in on poor defending to make it 1-1 and give Rangers renewed hope of claiming their first trophy in three years.
