Woodwork keeps Celtic game scoreless at interval

Shunsuke Nakamura and Scott McDonald both hit woodwork as Celtic failed to break down Dundee United in the first half of their Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash at Parkhead.

Nakamura clipped the post in the third minute with a left-footed drive from inside the box and on the half-hour mark McDonald also drove against an upright.

United's Craig Conway missed a sitter with seven minutes of the half remaining when he headed over the bar from a Michael Kovacevic cross.
