Savage set for Rams return

Derby manager Paul Jewell could hand a recall to skipper Robbie Savage for the Barclays Premier League trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea.

The Welsh midfielder was dropped for the 0-0 draw with Sunderland but may earn a recall to the Rams midfield.

Dean Leacock could return to the side after a hip problem but Giles Barnes has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

Forward Craig Fagan has joined former club Hull on loan until the end of the season and Claude Davis and Tyrone Mears are long-term absentees.
